Mixed-Reality Theatre: Monetopolis in Hamm
...play a mixed-reality theatre game in May / June in Hamm, Germany.
This is a project, I am also involved in.
It is a mixed realty theatre performance from Treibkraft Theater, with the world-premiere at the 16. May 2025 in the city of Hamm.
The piece is interactive play-theatre, with actors and mixed reality glasses. Up to 20 participants will play in realtime against each other. The theme is about money and slightly aligned to the theme - or gameplay of Monopoly. We use the Meta Quest 3 for the mixed reality experience.
My main part of this projects is handling the real-time multiplayer code on site and connecting all the glasses in realtime. Not the easiest task at hand, but all users tests went good so far. So, wish me luck in the end... ;)
