OpenZIM: Archive your favourite Internet!
...it was never easier to backup and archive websites.
I am visiting the re:publica 2025 this year. At an excellent workshop (Solar Powered Website: Online when sunny) I learned about this tool: openZIM.
It is a file-format and a open-source tool, with that you can download complete websites and store them locally. Just, like downloading the whole Wikipedia to an USB-stick.
People who know me, know my opinion, that everyone should archive more - especially culturally relevant - of the internet, to make it available also for future generations.
So this tool seems to come in handy, because it makes this process easy.
