Remember the big hype of 1999? With endless discussions, that the world will crumble down, because most calendars in computers only had two digits for the calendar?

It was the fear, that many computer-systems will just fail at 1.1.2000, because computes "would not compute" because of the two digit calendar.

It was a big thing. Maybe the first wave of digital fear, with the potential to "end the world".
